Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Vince Kerrio is a third generation Niagara resident. In the generations of his family business, which started in the 1900s, it has spanned from heavy construction to senior citizen homes to hotels and restaurants, manufacturing and farming.

Over the years the Kerrio family has provided thousands of good jobs for Niagara residents. Vince is a large employer and major taxpayer with a keen interest in the wellbeing of Niagara Falls and ensuring City Hall runs efficiently and transparently for all residents in the City.

Throughout his term he has remained committed to controlling taxes and has focused and encouraged staff to find new and alternative ways to raise revenues and control expenses. Kerrio is a team player. By earning the respect of his fellow councilors he was appointed acting Mayor and chosen to represent the city on the Niagara Parks Commission.
